One instrument across the whole crop cycle
Most quality tools answer one question at one moment. This one follows the plant, from the first leaf sample to the finished extract: the same instrument, the same account, one continuous record.

Manifesto
Every decision
in the grow room,
backed by
a number.

Leaf tissue analysis
Fertilize on leaf data, not on symptoms
A plant can run short of a nutrient long before it shows it. Regular leaf analysis catches this hidden hunger early, so you correct the feed while the crop is still standing, before it costs yield.
Every genetic, its own requirements
Replace one recipe for the whole room with decisions per genetic, per room and per growth stage, based on what the plant has actually taken up, not on what went into the tank.
Eight nutrients in one scan
Results come back in the same units used by laboratory leaf analysis.
How to take the sample
At harvest
Potency and terpene testing at harvest
Neutral and acid forms are reported separately, so the result reflects the flower as it is, not as it will be after decarboxylation. Terpenes come as a total and as an individual profile: the compounds that define aroma, effect and market value.
Cannabinoids
Terpenes
Total terpenes, plus eleven individual compounds.
The Total THC model is built on 1,099 reference samples.

Drying and curing
Cure on a number, not on feel
Moisture and water activity are the two numbers that decide when a lot is ready and how long it will keep. Measure them in the drying room as often as the process needs, and release every lot on data.
How it works
From sample to result
Ground material in the powder dish, sample weight on top: a constant optical path, every time.
Prepare
Dry and grind flower or leaf. Solid extracts go straight into the dish.
Calibrate
Eight seconds on the white reference tile at the start of each session.
Scan
Results appear in the app in seconds.
Act
Adjust the feed, time the harvest or release a lot, with data behind every decision.
No solvents·No consumables·No sample sent anywhere
Data and platform
Every room, every site, one record
Every measurement syncs to the cloud portal. Trend charts, average, standard deviation and CV per parameter, material and lot make drift visible before it becomes a rejection.

Validation
Checked against accredited laboratories
AGAINST THE LAB
THC comparisons within 1 percentage point of the laboratory result.
Dry flower, studies from 2024 and 2025.
ACROSS INSTRUMENTS
Three separate units, the same samples, one reference lab.
Total THC slopes against SC Labs fell between 1.06 and 1.17, so an operation running several instruments across several sites gets comparable numbers without recalibrating each one.
Study by BÜCHI Global NIR Applications, June 2026.
Results are predictions from validated NIR models and apply within each model’s calibration range, with the specified sample preparation.
The partnership
Swiss instrument. Cannabis-only science.
BÜCHI Labortechnik AG
Manufactures the analyzer and runs the platform behind it: mobile apps, cloud portal, firmware and security framework.
Valenveras
Owns, develops and maintains the cannabis models, and handles subscriptions, sample-preparation guidance and technical support. A team that works on cannabis and nothing else.

VALENVERAS PORTABLE LAB
Routine monitoring, in house
Fast, reagent-free results from cannabis-specific models, as often as the process needs.
ACCREDITED LABORATORY · HPLC / GC
Confirmation and compliance
Reference methods for regulatory testing and anywhere an accredited result is legally required.
Which materials can it analyze?
Dry flower, fresh flower, fresh leaves and solid extracts or hash. Fresh material is dried before scanning, and everything is measured in the powder dish with its weight, following the sample preparation SOP.
How do I sample leaves for nutrient analysis?
From week six, take the newest fully formed leaves from the third internode, with the petiole, from at least five plants per genetic. Dry, grind finely and scan like flower.
How accurate is it compared with a laboratory?
In six studies against five ISO 17025-certified laboratories, 21 of 25 THC comparisons fell within one percentage point of the lab result.
We run several sites. Will the instruments agree?
Yes. Three separate units tested on the same samples returned comparable results, without recalibrating each unit.
Does it need an internet connection?
Only for the first sign-in. Models are then cached on the instrument, a full session runs offline, and up to 999 spectra are stored and synchronized later.
Is it difficult to use?
It is designed for one-handed operation and requires minimal training. The app guides every step, from calibration to result.
Does it replace my accredited lab?
No. It handles routine, in-house monitoring. Accredited laboratories remain the reference for confirmation and regulatory testing.
