FTIR – Substance analysis
Energy Control and Valenveras join forces to develop, using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) technology, the first methodology to identify and quantify illicit substances, instantaneously, non-destructively and extremely economically.
As a result of more than 20 years of experience analyzing illicit substances, a system has been developed with a database of more than 3,850 spectra, allowing the quantification of more than 200 drugs.
In as little as 30 seconds, 16 readings can be taken from the same sample, allowing quantification of the substance with a cross-validation coefficient of determination (R²CV) of between 0.92 and 0.96 depending on the substance.
Identify and quantify the following substances:
- MDMA (crystals and pills)
The main characteristics of the readings are:
Our collection of FTIR spectra is constantly growing and contains thousands of high-quality readings of all types of illicit substances. We have grouped the spectra into drug-specific libraries to meet your individual analytical requirements.
